Point to remember in group discussions

Knowledge is strong point. A candidate with excellent reading habits has more probability of success. In other words, sound knowledge on diverse topics like politics, finance, economy, science and technology is useful. Power to persuade in effect is another eminence that makes you stand out among others, intelligibility in vocalizations and expression is yet another crucial quality. If you are not confident about the topic of discussion, it is better not to commence. Lack of knowledge or wrong progress creates a bad intuition, instead, you might approve the wait and watch manner. Listen helpfully to others, may be you would be capable to come up with a point or two later. A GD is a formal occurrence where jargon is to avoid. A GD is not a debating stage. Participants should detain themselves to expressing their view points. In the second part of the discussion candidates can implement their choice in approving, differing or lingering neutral. Language use should be simple direct and straight forward. Don’t suspend a speaker when the session is on. Try to achieve by increasing your size, not by wounding others short. Preserve understanding with fellow participants. Eye contact plays a most important role. Non-verbal gestures, such as listening carefully or dozing while appreciating some one’s viewpoint articulate of positively.
